Now let's be honest, this isn't going to be easy.
I find traveling alone to more of a mental workout than
anything. When you travel with a few friends or a significant

decisions to be made in one direction or another. When it is
just you, you have no "yeah let's go there" or "I want a beer in
Ireland". It's just you. You have to make the decisions. You
have to buy the plane ticket and plan everything from scratch.

there. Coming east on IH-10 from Houston, you will watch the
landscape change dramatically as you experience the states of
Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi, and finally Alabama. And then you
can easily include Florida while you're there, too. As you near
your destination, you'll see men wearing big white boots for
clamming, known locally as ' Baldwin County Nikes'.
You'll drive through casino land, then, turning south from

If you haven't seen the wildflowers in Texas in the spring, you
haven't lived! The highway medians and hillsides are full of

You are on the highway traveling as usual and thinking you are
enjoying yourself. But it occurs to you that in fact you are a
tepid tired, actually really tired and that you have just
realized that you have been tired for such a long time! Why?
Because you realize that you have had no break in a long, long
time! Voila! You realize that you know the solution. A break! To

'A cruise has been proven to be good for your health,' announces
the captain on the RCI at the end of the cruise.' I am nodding
my happy and relaxed head in agreement.

consumption.

Palace. For those not used to kind of freedom enjoyed by the
Norwegian royals, the palace can be quite a surprise. There are
no fences surrounding it and the gardens are open to the public
